need some help

Hey guys and gals, I'm pretty new to the cultivation but always had love for cannabis. My buddy asked me to take over his grow from him so I built a room and brought them over last night. They have been stressed to shit. He had moved from a house and had the plants just in a closet with no light for about a week and a half, still watering them half passed. They are about 3 weeks into flower says my buddy but I'm not to sure. So I watered them last night and they look worse than before. What could be the issue? I put then on a 12/12 light schedule unsure where to go from there. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

The temp right now is at 72 degrees in the room. its 4x4 with a 600watt HPS. have a little 8inch fan in there also. I have a little space heater in there because this is my garage with only propane heat. Im finishing off the room with insulation and sheetrock. And i have a inline fan with carbon scrubber on the way. I want to go get a pH tester and see if that has anything to do with it. They seemed light when i picked them up and figured they had not been watered. How often should i be watering them? And whats the best hight to keep the light at from the top of the tallest plant?

Let them dry out 80% in that type bucket. Back of hand test: hover hand over top of plant, if your hand gets uncomfortably hot so is the plant, raise the light;) Is your propane heater venting to outside? if not you are gassing your plant and it will die

Thanks a bunch. Is there anything i can do to help they dry out? I think they may have a slight drainage problem because the water takes a little while to drain out and it comes as drips not a flow. And not the space heater i have in the room is electric but my propane heater is not vented but the room is separated by a large wall and another door. But ill have an exhaust system this week.

If you think you overwatered, just set infront of the fan. It will dry out faster. Make sure she can breath till exhaust comes

Broad mites needs spinosad mite treatment. IF, IF you have mites it will devastate your grow now and in the future if you dont act soon.

Is it a spray that I use or is it something to mix with water? Any other ways to check? I literally just brought them to the grow site last night at 6pm.

1st thing Id do with those plants is cut off all the dead shit and put them back into veg cycle till they improve. While they are bouncing back, purchase a jewelers loop a.k.a. 30x+ microscope. Get the loop and check for the mites. If mites , get some spinosad and treat 2 days in a row with lights off during spraying. Spray spinosad in tent, medium, cracks etc. Douse the grow area.
What kind of nutrients will you be using for flower time?

Okay I'll be heading into town in a little while for the loop. Is the mite spray at any local home depot and do I have to go to hydro store? The nutes are just basic growth and bloom I'll check brand in 10 minutes. And I'll put them back on 18/6. Or should I go longer since they are all fucking stressed out?

24 on would be good, they need some light to bounce back. Look for pest sprays with spinosad in it, only thing that will kill those bastards. Hydro store will have it for sure (Monterrey Garden Insect Spray, has spinosad).

And okay I'll do that I'm leaving right now. I think I'll raise the light I went and checked them one more time it seems they may be a little burnt. That's the dead leaves that are burnt. The fanleaves are green with deep ridges. Should I look for any other nutes?

yea, I would get a nute line. You have random shits there. 20-20-20 will burn a plant up.not recommended for cannabis
