Need Some Help Please!

I made the mistake of registering with my real name on this forum and have tried countless times to contact the administration to get a name change. I don't want future employers searching for me and finding this site.

I realize it was an incredibly stupid thing to do, but I urge you all to realize the realistic consequences that this could have.

The admin, rollitup, said he would change it for me months ago, and asked me what I wanted to change it to. I have replied to him at least three times over the past few months and the name change has still not gone through. Is there another more active administrator that would be able to assist me? If not, could you guys help me find a solution? Perhaps you could do me a big favour and PM him with my situation or a link to this thread?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

ive tried contacting rollitup a few times too and never got a response either. to my knowlege they dont change names or delete accounts unless you get banned. im sure that RIU could do it for you, just dont post anything incriminating untill you sort this out

You DO realize that nobody would have known it was your real name, until you just told us.

So... there really wasn't a problem before. You just created one out of paranoia.

There are billions of people in the world. I find it highly unlikely that none of these people share your name.

I don't care if you guys know that it is my real name. And this is far from paranoia, this is a reality we live with today. I am fine with having my account deleted. I just need some assistance please.

if u can't delete ur account just quit posting and create a new account. This one will just fade away and youre not the only dude with that name

and an employer or anyone else would hardly pay attention to a forum like this IF they even found it. They look at places like myspace that have your photo and whatnot where its obviously you. They'd have no way of knowing if this is you or not

i am kinda lost i am new here too and when i signed up i dont think they asked for my name . just screen name and password.:wall:
