Okay so you guys probably haven't heard of me, but I'm EzBeanz and I smoke cannabis for my IBS, which I get nausea in the mornings and sometimes throw up, besides that I get stomach pains throughout the day, which Cannabis just makes it all go away, it's like magic.

So okay I introduced myself and all.

My plant has all orange reddish hairs all over, except for a few white ones left, it's kinda beefed up and all.

I know I have the harvest soon, but I'm not exactly sure when, I kind of would want opaque to yellow trichomes though, mostly yellow.

My questions are:

Do all the hairs have to turn orange, red, or brown before I harvest, or can there be a few hairs still somewhat white?

Can I see the thrichome's different colors (clear, cloudy, opaque, yellow, amber) with just eyes if I look close enough or do I need a jewelers magnifying glass?

Ill post up pictures in about 30 mins - an hour. :weed:

Ty :eyesmoke:

Here's the thing though
it's like a bit over 4/5's of the hairs are orange look a bit clear about 1/3, the rest are
but about 1/3 of the trichomes look clear, the rest are white cloudy/milky

I just don't want to harvest early :/

I'm also waiting for someones to let me know where the camera is and ill post up some pics

That aint early ...... your at your point I'd say ... with out knowing strain...... I'd chop at 2/3 cloudy if strain does turn amber...... you'll get what is to me a bored high... ain't a high more a get on the sofa and lay there numb.
You say nearly all pistels orange....... CHOP.
Knowing strain would help to say more accurately but either way your that close it don't mean shit unless your a connoisseur of that strain.. chop now or in 2 days at this point according to your indications aint going to improve high or yield...... CHOP.

Thats not good advice! just by the change of color in pistols, this can happen in flowering in 5th-6 weeks of flowering depending on conditions and strain! How many weeks has this been in flowering?

You will need a scope to judge trichomes correctly, Don't make the mistake to chop to early..... get a scope ;)

well I decided not to chop it, since it's still budding, um started in the middle of September, so i figured about 8 weeks in, give or take
the buds on it are beefed up and theres thc all over, but now the hairs are going from brighter orange to a darker red, so I'm definitely waiting a week and ill see from there.

While I'm at it, my bigger fan leafs all along are kinda dry and crispy a little bit, and they're beginning to turn purple a little bit, I'm not sure if it's because of the higher temperature from before and now it's suddenly cold?
at night it gets around 50F - 70F and during the day it's like 80's and maybe low 90's at the moment.

Also I used Molasses and Worm Compost for my nutes, I Flushed it about a week or two ago, twice, and I've been giving it 0C water
If that helps anything at all :)

thanks for your help too
