Need some advise

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. A week ago i posted a question about a grow box i was going to build. I managed to find a hydroponics store in my area and i am going there tomorrow to pick up my grow tent and supplies. Now i have a few questions for you experts.

The tent is 2.3'x4.'4x7' and can be split into 2 sections an upper and a lower. Im not sure the exact dimensions of the 2 sections once it is split but the bottom would work perfect for my mother and clones.

Im debating on a 430 hps and a 1000 hps. the 1000 is cheaper than the 600s.

I am thinking about t5s for the clones/mothers

now for the questions

1 - How many plants would you put in that tent? Im not sure if i should do SoG, SCRoG or just put a certain number of plants in it, and grow reg.

2 - What hydro set up would you recommend? The hydro store here only sells the ebb and flow equip but they dont sell a stand and im not sure if an ebb and flow would fit into this tent if i am using both sections. I was thinking on just using rubber maids and making a DWC

3 - would you recommend using a second carbon filter for the smaller mother/clone section?

4 - i have a question about ferts as well but im going to hook up my scanner and scan their catalog for those questions.

That small id DWC it you can do something like this.
Just saying this is 4x4 ONE baby 18gal DWC on steroids its only dwc when its not ebb and flowing lol

Keep it simple man what is how many plants do yo think you need.. you can put 6 or simply do one and utilize whole tent..

DWC makes massive plants dude, you have no pot to determine size, they just grow. I would do one. DWC is not a soil grow. It takes a lot more time and understanding. With a huge light like that and a small tent, I suggest spending the extra time effort and money on a chiller. And use the little space you have to include that. Your plants will be much happier. My two cents.

Ok guys so i just got back from the hydro store and after spending exactly $1400 i have everything i need except a timer. (They gave me quite a few discounts and then dropped off another 20 to make it even 1400.)

Now after speaking to the guy at the store ive decided that i am going to use a soiless mix for my first time aroud. I would tell you guys the name of the medium but i emptied it into a rubber maid and through the bag in a dumpster. (didn't wanna have a bag laying around.)

So i am going to take some pics and start a new thread in the appropriate section.
