Hey RIU. I have a few questions if you don't mind. I am about to start my grow and I wanted to know the best mixture for soil, meaning how much vermiculite and perlite I should mix in with fox farm. Also I was wondering if there are any grow kits that can help me throughout my growing process. I have grown a couple before, but I know there could have been lots better. The main goal is to have a flourishing plant so I get a good yield. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The soil mix I like is 50% soil and 50% other. So, 25% Pearlite, 25% Vermiculite, 50% soil. Thats just my preference though, everybody does it a little differently :P

I use 3 gals bcuzz hydro mix, 1 gal perlite, 1/2 gal med-vermiculite, 1/2 gal peat moss, 1/2 gal worm castings & then o mix them all together and put it in my big mixing tote and do it all over again till my tote is filled..........My buddy only uses the bcuzz hydro mix and that's it, but for me it's not porous enough for me. I'd rather give less in nutes everytime than let salts build up in my containers...Basically i'm runnin hydro dirt lol.....meaning i'm running a very porous medium and needs to be replenished more often. i do reuse water tho....because doing it this way i consumer more water. So i made a homemade filter and i strain my runoff water thro it and use it a second time........I mix the reused water with the water i pull from my 100 gall fish tank and bingo ..................
