Ok i started both of these plants around the same time, there basically days apart. The date was july 30th when they were put under lights. Ive noticed lately that they have started to yellow a bit on the leaves and the one that has the piece of cardboard next to it started to lay over and the stem almost looked like it was pinched but theres no way that could of happened cause no one goes in this room but me so im not sure what is going on there. Im only using 2 30w 6400k cfl's atm but i have 6 more that should be here on monday. Im keeping the ph at 5.8 and im using half strength flora nutes atm. I keep the fan running on low so i know theres plenty of air circulation and the temp stays steady at about 70f-72f and humidity looks to be at 60%. I cant keep track of my ppm cause i dont have a meter which i know is bad but my budget just isnt allowing me to get one atm. I dumped the system and put fresh water and nutes in about a day and a half ago but i havent really seen any drastic signs of improvment. Any help or tips you guys could give me would be great, Thanks :)

Heres some pics of my veg closet and the 2 plants i have so far, i can get more pics if needed.

This pic below is the one with the cardboard holding it up for support beings it started to tip over on its side.

This one below was doing fine but just recently started to show some yellowing on the leaves.

Well im gonna go ahead and update one of my questions on my own and that is the one where i was unable to find out why that one plant ended up tipping over and i dont think its because it was dying or anything but rather my stupidity by putting the fan to close and i think it just kind of got blown over beings its stem isnt that strong so i hope it will heal itself. That might be why its hasnt been showing much improvement in growth beings it probably trying to heal itself. Im not 100% thats what happened but i cant think of any other way it would just end up on its side and not be all wilted up so i think im right heh

Ya like i said i have 6 more 30w 6400k cfl's on the way. Im not sure what a 30w cfl is equal to in light but i know my 19w cfls i have are equal to a 75w regular incandecent so i would assume these are fine right? but yes your right i do need more and that is being taken care of soon. Exspecially beings i plan on flowering 4 plants, but that will be done with a 600w hps in the flower room i built, i just need to get these mature enough to get there first heh. Thanks for the feedback though ganja :)

CFLs are fine.. Just depends how many you got.
As for the amount you've got, should work beastly, that is for two plants right?
A fan would help to make the stems of the plants stronger..
As for the yellowing, could be the Nutes..
The lights should be about an inch away from the plants..
I've been told CFLS work better on their sides, make yourself a Reflector..

ya as far as the amount of plants that are gonna be in there, i plan to veg 4 to maturity in that space. I'll have a total of 8 cfls goin in there. I was mainly just concerned with the yellowing that was occuring so early into the grow, and atm im using only half str nutes, is this to much? The fan i have circulating the air was behind me when i took the pics so you couldnt see it, and yes i definetly plan to get a large industrial reflector to make my own cfl contraption somewhat similar to the one kp posted on here, that one was very nice imo. Thank you for your feedback arrid :)

The yellowing is from the plant using up it's stored nutes.
When they have a prob taking up nutes they will do this.

You should transplant if you have not yet.

You should also look into adding some hydrogen peroxide to the water when you water them

I like to use it like every 3 or 4 waterings.

You only need like 1oz per gal of water.

It gets much needed oxygen to the roots and also fights root rot and helps the plant from getting root bound.

Once they are root bound they will appear to have completely stopped growing.
They just seem to maintain.
