Need really fast help with my temp/light problem

Well if your house is 26 degrees to start with then you need to lower that, the air in the tent can only be as cool as the air in the house.
Turn the rad off in the room.


A 6" ruck fan will be better than a 4"
An air cooled hood will remove the heat(reduce heat by 1/3rd), you should be able to get a reasonable one for £50-70

The bigger the fan the higher the air exchange the lower the temp rise from ambient(house temp)

With one fan always suck heat out not push air in.

Place your thermometer above the light line , out of direct light.

Oh and don't duct the heat into the ceiling space like was suggested, your lighting ring is in there and if the floor above is cold the humid air will condensate and cause mould and possible problems with the electrics.

Im checking the temp at the bottom of the tent in the corners and also in the pot, obviously in the pot on direct light temp is higher, should I check top of thw tent as well ? Above the light yeah?

I hate to say it but your temps are too high. 80-85f is where you want to be.

Well technically speaking its the air temp that's important , not so much the radiant heat from the light.
Which is why you place the thermometer above the light line out of direct light because light heats up solid objects like thermometers and gives you false readings.
Its the same way a weather station would read air temperature without interference from solar radiation (light)

Regardless of that its not your biggest issue and I wouldn't be concentrating on that.

A hood will directly remove approx. a third of the heat, an 8" fan will be overkill, I used to run one for 3x 600hps in 4x8 but I was venting my heat up a chimney.

Its really a guessing game when your not getting that heat out of the house but the hood would be my first purchase. Choose wisely , there are a lot of good hoods for reasonable prices and a lot of bad ones that are more expensive.

Guys I am really thankful, I will buy one air cooled hood.

Do I just connect it to my 4in fan and to it through duct and blow air out?

Im asking stupid questions but want my first grow to be perfect, with time I will invest win bigger fan and more setup

Switch to LED. Also the placement of the thermometer. It would be good to have a thermometer with 2 sensors. You can one as was stated above , but I like to have one under the canopy near the root zone.

It is not easy switching to led, good led lights will cost me fortune and I cant afford it now.

Also if I will buy cheap led and then switch to hps on flower I will still have to buy more stuff to cool tent down.

If I had money trust me that I would buy some good led.

My electricity bill is included in my rent so dont really care about it.

I want to stick to HPS for first few months as I already bought it.

No on those lights,stick with the hood.Get a 6"and a 4~6 reducer.As said this will remove a lot of the heat.I find them on my local buy and sell for quite cheap.Your land lord is going to notice the electric bill increase.Hope that its not a problem.
