Need opinions on this Hydrohut setup...

So, I have decided to go with the Hydrofarm Hydrohut XXL for my new 12-16 plant re-circulating DWC setup. I know there were some issues with this tent killing plants slowly, but from what I gather they have corrected the problem. I wanted a Secret Jardin, but the size will not accommodate my grow. Moving on…

My questions for some owners out there are…
How do you bring in outside air to the tent without having light leaks?
I want to run 4 – 1000W mixed spectrum lights (600HPS/400MH), I know that’s a lot and it’s going to be a task just to get them hung. But, I think it can be done… What’s the maximum amount of light anyone has seen run in one? And if you have a link, can you post it? I know people will call me crazy and say that it is overkill, but I think the more light the better (I want to replicate the SUN!!!) LOL.

With that amount of light I know cooling will be my #1 concern, so I am prepared to buy a LARGE exhaust fan with say 1000-2000cfm on a speed controller. The setup will be in my garage and only be used to grow in the fall, winter and spring months…that part is on my side since I live in a cold climate. Question is here, with that many CFM running will the tent collapse inward from the pressure? The exhaust fan will be mounted in the attic portion of the garage connected via 8-12” ducting…whichever it uses. I’ll probably have to modify the tent to accommodate the ducting.

I’m open to any ideas so if you have them feel free. I am set on using the 4 lights, but if I had to downsize to 3 I would consider it.

whats up man, i use a hydrohut myself 4x4x7.. that problem with them killing crops was an issue they had with the inner plastic lining and has been corrected, so if you got yours in the last year you should be straight. now to keep from light leaks i used a HEPA cone filter clamped onto my inline duct fan sucking air in, no light leaks from filter, u can just see the filter, but i keep a box in front of mine. and maybe just use 2 1000w bulbs.. i use (1) 1000w dual-arc bulb in my hydrohut and its plenty but 2 would be great also. you should be fine with pressure if ur exhaust fan will be located in the attic. think i covered it all. pretty blazed sittin @ work so if i was confusin, my bad

Can you take a quick picture to show me exactly how your intake is rigged up? I assume they have a 6" opening towards the bottom of the tent for this right?

And I wish I could surf RIU while I was working, but they monitor the damn sites we go to...anything porn or drug related would be a no no.
