So i've been growing three plants of unknown strains (originally bought from seed bank n the internet, but don't know which strain is which). The cabs dimensions are 24"x32"x70". I have a 6 inch inline air fan i bought from home depot that pushes 250 CFMs. I also have a mounted 9" oscillating fan right below the light. I have a switchable 250W light fixture and ballast. I have both metal halide and high pressure sodium bulbs for it. As for reflection i made the mistake of buying reflective insulation rather than reflective mylar which i think is affecting the temperatures to a great deal. The temps are usually around 80-83 degrees. I'm wondering if i should replace the reflective insulation with some sort of mylar. Would that decrease the temps?
Another question is regarding bucket size for these 3 plants. As for now these seeds are regular, and the sex is unknown, but i'm willing to take a risk to see what they are, and use the males for later breeding purposes. My planwas to use 5 gallon buckets. Do you think this is a good idea? What kind of yields, given their females, would i possibly get from a 250W light working with 5-gallon buckets? And the last question, would it be a good idea to transplant them to their final home given their height right now? I understand its trickier to water with such a small plant and a large 5-gallon bucket, but two of the three plants are already out growing the 1/2 size 2 litre containers they are in right now.
NOTE: The plant in the 5th picture was dropped by accident, and managed to recover, and is still recovering. When the plant fell it basically topped itself due to the way it dropped and snapped the the top off. I'm also using FoxFarm Ocean Forrest soil and the trio nute package (Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, and Grow Big).
Any comments or opinions on their growth and the environmental conditions would be greatly appreciated. And also, is i bad for the one plant to be growing so short and stocky as the plant on the far right?
