Hi guys, I’m thinking of starting a simple CFL grow, but wondering how many cfl's I need.
I was thinking of one, 150w as main light above, and two 43w @ 5800k, one on each side for veg,
Then the same thing but with bulbs @ 2700k for flowering?
Is this enough you guys think? I'll be planting this in my grow box which is 1.2/1.2/1.2 meters more or less, and it will be 2 plants in there. If anything’s wrong with this, or if I have to use some more cfl’s, could you correct me please?

Hehe, just b4 i posted this i wos going through ur journal, so i fort cfl must be the cheap and easier way to grow
Yup. All you gotta do is get the lamp down between the plants and you'll have it made. You should think about skipping the 150w overhead and putting some extra 43w lamps around and between them. If you're going CFL and you want a lot of weed, I'd suggest you get your wattage to around 400 to really maximize that space.

Yh i think ur right, cuz then i wuold have like 3/4 more 43w cfl's around the hole plant which means light gose to almost 100% of the plant. ALSO if i have for instant four 43w, which in total is 172watts, and replace them all with a 172watt lamp, what would be better the 4 smaller watt ones or 1 all in one?

High Intensity Discharge

Here is an example. You'd need to get the optional cord and socket thingy, and you'd have to purchase a lamp/bulb and a reflector/hood, but this is ideally what you want.
