Need input about Herbie's Pick n Mix seeds

Hope you don't mind me sort of hijacking your thread OP, but is anyone else have problems connecting to Herbies pick n mix website? I couldn't connect until just now and couldn't for about 18 hours.

and about your original post, I have never bought from them but have heard nothing but good things. Plan on be a very good customer of theirs pretty soon.

I've used Herbie's, Attitude, Sea of Seedss and Growshop Alien. All came through.

For what it's worth, I think SOS is the best overall. More free seeds and far cheaper stealth shipping than Attitude.

hey guys a lil quick tip.. never order over 150 bucks.. that's usually were their freebies stop.. if you need more than that.. make another Order.. that way you get double freebies and such.. its just a smarter way to play.. you got to remember these seeds got for cents on the dollar... they are profiting huge... mainly the stealth shipping method probably cost em 3-5 bucks..

i ordered and got the seeds. planted 6 and 4 came up and a few days after i got my order they dropped the price 33%. i wrote and told them hoping maybe i could get a deal next time since the price dropped right after i ordered. the guy was a real jerk. i mean an ass, saying he was doing me a favor sending seeds... seriously. so no more favors will be asked and i will order some place else next time. i know some seeds don't come up and prices change but both from my first order, then the attitude was too much.

Shit happens man. Also you sound like a mooch. Would you go into Walmart or somewhere and complain like that? Probably not. He is right he's doing you a favor he doesn't have to send you shit. Specially if you are in the us. Stop feeling so entitled.

Wish I could say the same about Growshop Alien. I have bought seeds from them for over 10 years. I do not get any freebies ever and now this is the second order where None of my seeds germinated when I usually have a 100 percent rate. This last order I bought 5 female diesel ryders and 10 regular diesel ryders. I do not have one seed popped... I am very disappointed as I think I was sold seeds that were a decade old. The only time I have ever had no germination rate was seeds of my own creation that were very old as well. I emailed Growshop Alien and got no response. I will never buy from them again. It seems they are known for not having any customer service if you check other forums. I always used them and was happy but now I like so many others will be switching over to Attitude.

Just got my first package WITH GREEN TAPE!!!!

And sadly it was from Herbie's p n m.
After being on here and reading this post and that post about how the stealth shipping wasn't necessary and ppl got their order every time, I finally got tired of paying the extra 15-20 bucks cause it was making the seeds cost 15-20 dollars a pc-on smaller orders.

Well, the first order I placed without the guaranteed shipping gets here with green tape across the top. I almost wondered if it was mailed like that? Is that possible? There was no letter. Just the package, which didn't appear to me to have been opened, with a piece of green tape across the top. You can make out "U.S. Custom Border Patrol" and the homeland security insignia but that's it.

What I assume was supposed to be stealth was bull shit BTW. A round plastic container full of little plastic beads. Hell, it SOUNDED like seeds in the package before I opened it...... then to open it and only find those fuckin useless beads....

I've emailed them and will report back what they tell me. Wish me luck.

Also, anyone who knows what they'll probably do in this situation lmk.- And what about those bullshit beads?? What kind of shit is that?! Sounds just like seeds in the container when you shake it around SMFH.

OK Update:

Herbie emailed me back first thing this morning and asked for a pic of taped pkg.
I complied and he quickly sent me another email saying he could either reship or refund.

He said the plastic bead/bearings was a typically successful but I asked if he would be so kind as to send it in something that didn't rattle when shook.

We shall see.

He seems super friendly and quick to correct the problem so things are going good so far.

why would anyone send beads or anything for that matter that makes noise when shaken? Seems like curiousity
got to customs and they investigated. Sorry that happened to ya,bro. A letter is def best bet. I keep going back and forth about ordering from Herbies.
They have durga matta II-high cbd. looks like ill have to pass . Seems too risky after hearing this. Too bad I really want some

herbie has been nothing but gracious in his emails. If he re-sends in something other then those beads I'll be satisfied.


curiously, he said in his first reply back to me that all the standard shipped packages go out like that and it has never been an issue. He said "lots of things rattle in packages." But surely he has to realize it raises eyebrows when it makes a noise like that, and the way it's labeled and what not, shit just doesn't make sense to me. But like I say, if he'll reship in an alternate container, preferably a dvd case cause I'm all the time ordering games and dvd's anyway and the postman thinks nothing of it, then I got no complaints with the way it was handled. I'll let u know.
