need info, please read .cfl info i need

hello riu n all green fingered freaks like myself !!
righty then, im needing to know how much of an area a 125w 6400k cfl would light up enough for veg ?? reason i ask is i have a 600w hps flower room n i have a 250w mh which i use for veg and the running costs are a bit high on my shitty prepay meter in the uk !
also room is an issue as i already have a flower room ! im thinking of using an old chester of drawers and a cfl if it would work ie grow decently n not too slowly ??
please let me know if you think it would be viable as got one lot half way through flower n have germed the next lot so need to know whether i gotta get a cfl or magic extra grow space n use my 250w mh ?? thanks ahead of a reply.

125watt 'envirolight' type CFL I assume? I veg with about 125 watts of (small) CFL's and they do just fine ...... take a look at my thread with pics maybe? (below).

I estimated a couple of years back that my 600watt HPS cost a round £35.00 a month to run.... are you working out about that ? Just interested . I just stick with all CFL's now days, start to finish!

I vegged 4 clones under 1 125w 6500, and 4 23w 2700 and they grew too big in less than a month. now i will probably have to go buy an hps to bud them with. Keep the lights close to the plants and 125 should be enough to do a short veg cycle, depending on the number of plants.

Can anyone give me any info on budding using cfl'S? never tried using them to bud but would like some info. I was concidering going with another 125w 2700 cfl and say 4 more 23 w, should that be enough to get descent buds?

yes mature smoker, an envirolite! im payin 11 quid a week on veg including fans etc thats in flower too !! piss take i know but has to be done. In veg it was about 17 pound every 7 days ! im paying 13.60 a kw ! my ballast is pumping over 700w the people that say 600w r mad !! tested when ballast was 8months old its 11months now.
this is why i was asking its about saving cash but not risking quality. i dont think id flower under them though i dont think it would last me n the mrs till the next lol thats how we roll baby ,thats how we do it
