Need info, please help

This plant is around a month and a half old. I already know I stunted it. But recently I put it in some miracle grow potting mix. It has two 60w equiv. cfl on it, about 3 inches away from the plant. And I water it once a day, with a fan blowing at it. Temps are around 70. Is there anything else I need to do? Or am I good to relax and watch it grow?

Its wet..let the soil dry between waterings.. MG soil can be hot for plants at first unless their "organic" one.

Alright, I'll cut back on watering a little. Also the bottom set leaves are turning yellow. What should I do for that?

How much more light do I need to add? When I first started growing it was under a single 13w cfl, now I have it under 2 60w equiv cfl. I was told 50-100w each plant.

yeah actual watts not equiv 100 watts is min your gonna want more for good growth

Miracle grow is real soil and many growers have had great sucess with it,

to the original poster, MG can be hot, try not to water it unless you have too till it gets a bit bigger.

your lighting is far from adequate, i use CFL in my veg tent and i run 360(Actual) watts if your using 2x 60w equivelent thats probabally only around 26 actual watts and is not nearly enough light for your plant. head to wal mart and pick upo a couple 4 packs of 23w 2700k (soft white) CFLS and add all 8 to your plant and notice the difference immidiatly.

You could grow up to 4 plants under a 400w if you like. You should buy a nice size tent to hang your light in or find a closet or something. I use a 1.2 x 1.2 metre size tent. You will need a 6 inch exhaust fan and a four inch intake if its hot where you are. If it's winter or cold in general then you could run it passive. Buy the rvk type fans not no cheap shit rip offs. It's pricey to get started but if you get this kind of basic kit together you will get proper sized plants.

Sounds like I'm preaching here lol but after my first go of cfl's I realized i was just wasting my seeds. Don't get me wrong, you can get some good plants going under cfl's but it looks like a ball ache if you ask me. Get some money together and get down the hydro store!!

You can get a couple or three bathroom vanity fixtures that hold two or three bulbs, and put the splitters in so that each socket accomodates 2 bulbs, or you can make something to do the same purpose.
The clamp lights with the aluminum reflectors work well also if you don't want to build something.
