Ok so I was assisting a buddy in his garden & came across several issues, he is not hands on w/ his girls & hardly ever checks on them.. which I am sure resulted in the fallowing.
5wks from 12/12 flip.
While going through his garden I found one girl with several nanners throughout the plant, They appeared to be just forming, no balls & I did not see any pollen. Anywho, I came across another plant on the opposite side of his garden that is creating seeds badly on the 1/3 bottom of plant. Where all the popcorn buds would be, they are all seeds with no nanners or signs of hermi, some seeds are nicely formed & well on their way to maturity. the 2/3 top of plant is all pistil balls w/ no signs of hermi or pollination.
Usually I would tell him to simply kill the hermi and start over.. though he is no perfectionist & wants to keep them.
I told him to pick any nanners he finds daily, though I am not sure what he should do about the plant that is completely seeded on the bottom. Should he allow it to continue ripening the seeds which would slow its budding process on the top.. OR should he Chop the lower seeded branches now to promote more growth on the top colas.
Would cutting his lower branches promote the top to hermi this far along in bloom?
All were from clones.
