Need ideas for running out of vertical space +pics

Sup guys and girls :) I'll start this like every other n00b starts by saying this is my first grow, and I'm learning as I go. So far, it's been great, but now I'm running out of room for my ladies to grow vertically. And let's just get this part out of the way.
Here's my set-up:

My grow area is approx. 2' x 2' x 4'

Home-made CFL light panel includes
1 x 105W 5000K 7,150 lumens
8 x 23W 2700K 1,600 lumens
Total lumens = 19950

I've got one intake and one exhaust fan, both moving about 70 CFM.

They were planted in 3.1 gallon square containers

I'm watering about every other day to once every 3 days, alternating straight water with nute water. I'm using Fox Farms Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom ferts.

The strains are Euforia and Brainstorm. Brainstorm is just over 13" and Euforia is almost 17". I started them flowering 3 days ago after 5 weeks of veg. My problem is they've grown into big, fat ladies which is awesome, but Euforia is just growing taller and taller. I was hoping to train them somehow in a spiral but their stalks have become so thick there isn't much bend to them.

So I guess my question is how have other people dealt with running out of vertical space? Has anyone tried training their plants in spirals or is there another way you guys know about? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, I find bouncing ideas back and forth with experienced growers tends to yield a better solution :)

you should have planned on some LST from the get go, if you knew your grow box was that small. i would top it and try and LTS now. i never grown brainstorm, but i know some strains dont take 2 good to training or cutting. i would do research on your perticular strain first.

Thanks for the quick reply! I've got one question though. What's LST?

I know I should have thought about this a bit ago but I didn't think the stalks would get so thick that I couldn't bend them.. Live and learn..

hi mate, growing euforia at the mo. i vegged them for two weeks in wilmas under three 600w mh lamps. i then changed the lamps to hps for the flowering stage. four weeks on and they have just stopped growing in height at over 5 feet! dp reckons they get to about 4 feet max! guess not mate! i think you need to think outside of the box, so to speak! lol. i tried topping a few but it made no difference. it stunted their growth for a few days and that was that. :)
