Need high-yield, potent, easy to clone, easy to grow, SEED strain

That's because there's more to a good potent strain than high THC. ;)

As others have suggested...check out Bodhi. I think just about anything from his 88g13hp line will give you what you need. Or just go do some reading in the Bodhi thread.
You'll thank us later...
I browsed the list but there's like a hundred 88g13hp crosses. Anyone want to suggest a few winners?

I've only grown out a couple. TIme Bandit was really nice. There's pics in the Bodhi thread.
You should go over to that thread and check out the grows. It "might" help you narrow it down. It might cause you buy more packs too though, lol.

High yield should be your last priority. doesnt matter if you have 5 grams or 5lbs, shit weed is shit weed. Find some strains worth keeping, clone them, and then SOG it up, you will get some real good yields that way. But yeah, cannot go wrong with Bodhi. I got ASS, Purple Wookie, Bingo Pajama in my flower tent, HAOGxSSDD, Soar, and J1HP in veg tent, and my two testers, Dragonsblood x Iraqi and Mango Biche x OMG.

So far they are all at least average-heavy yielders, real stinky and frosty an STICKY.

I don't want to hijack this thread but have you found any bleeders in the Dragonsblood x Iraqi?
And are you getting smells of the Mango Biche x OMG?
I'm really curious about those two

Contrary to claims, you can go wrong with Bodhi. I've ran beans of a couple of strains that were lousy, though they are the exception. Most have been good to very good.

If I were first time buying, I'd get goji all day everyday - good yields of potent, tasty weed every time. But you may have to settle on a cross since it's discontinued and may be hard to find. But this one should be superb:

Edit: IN fact, if anyone is holding an unopened pack, and would like to turn it into 2 unopened packs of some GPS, you know what to do. :eyesmoke:

I was referred to DR Green thumb "G13" by a former commercial grower.

Haven't decided yet so many choices its impossible to narrow down.

I just looked at Digital Genetics' site because White Fire OG sounded interesting. It's not exactly encouraging when the first 10 or so "where to buy" links are 404. Super-unprofessional when you can't even keep your most important links updated. WTF.

As for White Fire OG, it seems to be vaporware, unless White Fire Widow OG is the same thing.
Never heard of Digital Genetics.

White Fire OG is an OG Raskal strain, and that guy hasn’t released seeds in a long time. You won’t be able to find packs of his stuff unless you pay big bucks for someone’s personal stock that may not even pop.

I find it’s much better to research breeders first. Find someone with a good rep, real genetics, and decent selection. Then start narrowing down the list of strains they have to find something you want.

And I’m with everyone else on yield. Unless you’re a cash cropper or just making distillate, yield should be a low priority. The best quality strains are often the lower yielded, and in many parts of the country, poor quality just means not moving product.

I think 20% is pretty damn good. I don't need "super potent." I need to clear a certain minimum bar for potency, but once I reach it, thc fades in importance, and yield becomes the most important factor to me (as well as a number of other factors that I'll call "easy to clone and grow and train"). I think 20% thc clears that bar. I've had no trouble moving my Neb, and it's well below 20%, IIRC. I'd like something better, but I think 20% qualifies.
Thc is not the end all. I've smoked plenty of 15% that blows higher thc stuff out of the water.

Female seeds are fine. No they are not more prone to herm if it was a stable strain to start.

C99 is a good strain. I've grown it from several breedrrs. Most are the same. Female seeds makes a good c99.

Cloning varies from seed to seed. Some clone easy and some don't.

from my experience I would go with gorilla bomb or THC bomb from Bomb seeds,Run these inside and doing a run of Gorilla bomb outside this year./ Yield is above avg,but the smoke is killer ,I only run a few outside in summer and had to put these out after seeing what they do inside. If your going to ever buy from sensi go with the NL5x haze, not sure how it is now but that was my go to in the late 80's early 90's.(bought from sensi catalog before intranet) To this day I still run crosses I have made with it.IMO NL5x haze is top 5 in best cannabis strains ever for high and breeding,

IF a strain/pheno is easy to clone, then yield becomes less important because, as you say, you can SOG it to compensate.

(One problem I've always had with SOG is pot size; I have an ebb and flow setup. The net pots I use are the smallest I can make work in ebb and flow, about 6 or 7 inches in diameter. The next smallest size I can normally find are basically cups, not nets, and they just tip over in E&F. But the pots I have are kinda too big for SOG because plants get to monster size in them, lol)

In a way, "yield" is kind of a misnomer, because in a perpetual grow (like I run) it is only one part of the equation of yield, with the other being photoperiod (edit: not photoperiod, wrong word) - how long it takes to mature; a strain that matures in 50 days that gives as much weight as a strain that matures in 70 days is actually the higher yielder.

That said, I wouldn't put yield last. I put stuff like taste behind yield. People might gripe about taste but they will still buy if potency is there, and if there's better yield there's more weight to move. There's also such a thing as diminishing returns; potency is important, but beyond a certain level it fades in importance - good enough is good enough.

The problem is that people who have never REALLY grown commercially tend to have a point of view that is more like a consumer and less like a producer; naturally concerns like yield mean little to them, but a lot to producers.

I second the thc bomb. Anything from bomb seeds is good.
this is so true. I have some Blue Diesel taht supposedly is only 15-20 percent, and its an awesome smoke!
It's all the cannabinoids and how they work together.

Thc by itself isn't that great.

Still processing all the new replies. Thanks to all of you guys, if I didn't reply individually, I'm still paying attention and checking out your recommendations.

Old School euro bank fem seeds you can count on:
Paradise Seeds - Delahaze
Massive mango lemon haze, grows itself, watch out she gets big!
Devil’s Harvest Seeds - Strawberry Diesel
Uhh, all the same stuff, but fruity diesel, sticky and prolific.
Both of the above will easily hit five foot in flower with a modest month of veg time.

Most anything from HSO seems alright, too.

(Except Autos. Shun Autoflowers and those who grow them.)

What do you guys think about Rare Darkness and L.A. Confidential? Also looking at Super Skunk from Sensi...

Edit: Mike, thx, I think about the stability of strains a lot. I like the idea of stabilized genetics that you can rely on to pop and produce a good pheno.

Care to recommend a source? I'm always at a loss as to where to begin to find the "best" or "real" seeds...
i think seedsherenow & urbangreen have them. they are probably all over insta too.

any type of chem d hybrid would probably do as well to be honest. tons of breeders do stardawg hybrids also.

stardawg is a really good cash crop which is why you see it everywhere at the minute
You found Stardawg in seed form? Was it an IG auction or has JJ dropped a new batch?

I have Top Dawgs Star Dawg IX, Star Dawg F2 (definitely not a cash croppers and not for beginners) along with a bunch of outcrosses but I haven't seen "Star Dawg in seed form for about 5 yrs or so.

Bodhi has a few that have caught my attention. That Starflight Guava looks good and I think he also crossed Stardawg Guava to Wookie?

LA conf is strong bud(indica) that is not a huge yielder(avg). Grew it a couple years ago and pull it out if I wanna go to sleep or do nothing all day.
