Need help

Hi everyone !

I'm in the week 7 of a Purple Kush that takes 8 to 10 weeks to flower . The buds are still very small and they din't grow in the last 2 weeks . I was feeding it too much Nitrogen ,I lowered it ,but it was not enough .
The leafs are dark green and very shiny and the leafs from the buds are clawing . The PPM is at 1400 ,the mix is ArmorSi ,CalMag ,Hydroguard ,flora series ,liquid koolbloom . I need to correct the situation and hope it's not too late to make those buds swell a bit .
If I want to change my solution for a new one ,should I flush them first with plain PH water for couple of days or directly go to my new mix ? I was thinking of using only the Hydroguard ,Micro ,bloom ,liquid koolbloom and go for 1000PPM . Any other suggestion ?
Thank you !

I suggest you try and get some pics up and some more info, like your setup, temps, etc. It's pretty hard as it is to give definitive answers here so every bit of info helps.

Plain water would be fine with soil but not hydro, they would think they are dying. Go with new mix, and also reduce your ppm, that's why your leaves are probably curling. I try to stay down around 800ppm at most. High ppm actually slows plant growth down, since the plant doesn't drink as much, therefore not taking up the amount of calcium and other things it needs. Calcium is the big one though, and is uptaken totally passively, which means only through transpiration. So if your humidity is too high, or your ppms too high, the plant won't transpire enough and it can slow to almost nothing.

Good lesson learned.

Too much N going into flower causes delayed budding and smaller bud output.

N is an antagonist to K which is crucial in bud production. So too much N slows the intake,of K.

Your buds will also taste more green when smoked no matter how long you cure it, that wont go away.

Its too late to hope for more buds. You missed the prime, bud packing. Calyxes are, obly going to swell at this point.

But stopping the high feed is better than keeping it up.

I will add further to this transpiration topic that you should check out a Vapor Pressure Deficit chart. You want a VPD of 10. The RH for this differs based on ambient temperatures.

Get your feed to 600ppm 500 scale or 1.2EC. I grew 4x4 monsters about 5 feet tall and peaked at 750ppm 1.5EC. At 2 weeks left I was at 1.0-1.2EC and pulled nearly 0.9gpw using a 315w CMH and a shitty scrog
