you dont want to put your girls under any stress during flowering, especially taking a whole branch, even know they are not getting much light you should still get some pop corn buds, or the branch could catch up, you would damage your yeild and could turn your mj hermie, and would definetly stop groth for a while while she trys to heal herself, let her do her thing and you will save a lot of bother, hope this helps, furious

I hear/read alot of controversy on trimming your plant during flowering. on 1 side people say it can cause stress to the plant causing possible hermie/sex change decrease in yield due to the fact your fan leaves is what gathers the light for the plants growth other side other people say if you do a light trim you wont stress it out and have more light etc etc its up to you to decide if you want to do a light trim or not but me personally would just suggest to tie it down/apart a bit or just bend them out the way if possible

rayray, the problem wasnt about getting light to buds it was about having a branch that the grower wanted to chop, you are right that a light trim you may get away with and bending is great, but to chop a intire branch would put serious stress on the mj especially when she is in flowering, it will take a while to recover from a branch chop and in that time all bud growth will stop, and they may end up with a bag of popcorn bud rather than buds to be proud of, but hopefully the advice you did give may help this grower in future
