1. get 5 or 7 gallon pots. I am using 7 gallons and it should be perfect.
2. The ph should be between 6.3 and 6.8. The ph allows optimal nutrient uptake
3. 10-10-10 is a way of referring to the N-P-K value of a fertilizer. Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium...3 nutrients essential to the growth of cannabis. Usually nitrogen is needed in vegetative state, while phosphorus is needed in flowering.
4. Water when you feel is right. Sometimes there will be hot days and the soil will dry up extra fast, others it will not need watering. If your plants are big enough, 3 inches until you feel moisture is a good rule. (I think) Otherwise, just let them dry out every once in a while.
In all, just read up a lot on this site. I am growing for my first time this year and I learned all that information by reading. I was as clueless as you a year ago. Dont get frustrated with growing, its fun.
