I would think it would work. Do the math on the cu ft output,

It can and can not do everything. One end of it sucks air in that comes out the other. Generally you want a carbon filter on the end sucks air in and then have it vent out of the tent. So long as your tent has some passive intake (way/place that air can get into the tent) then as that fan sucks in air, fresh air will be passively sucked into the tent.

I don't use HID, but you want to add a cool tube so it would go carbon filter - cool tube - fan - duct out. Or maybe it is fan-cool tube.

You also want a oscillating fan inside the tent to help cool and keep the plants strong.

Air goes in to the fan housing on one side and out the other of the fan housing on the other. Whether you use it as an exhaust fan or intake fan is up to you.

I personally recommend the Panasonic Whisperline series of fans... My box fan is several times louder than the Whisperline!

Do I need to have an exhaust fan or I can just make a holes for example in my grow tent/room/closet? That should be fine, right?

Exhaust is more important than intake. You want negative airflow (a little suction) to get the hot air the hell out there. In other words, you need to force more air out than you are letting.

When I first set up my exhaust fan/filter, dumbass GrowinDad put the fan the wrong direction. so no exhaust, only air being forced in. Temps got bad even with cfl and I damn near killed my plants!

You are fine with passive intake. You need exhaust.

I use a 6" 350cfm for my veg tent and a 6" 420 cfm for my flower tent. both tents are 4x4x7. check out amazon, if they deliver to your area.

QFT!!!!

I got a WL and it is quieter at full power than any other fan
that I have at that fan's lowest setting.

I have a window-fan in the man-cave, pushing air out. I never hear my WL.
