Need help with ventilation

Also if you only have a 2'x3' area how are you going to do a vertical grow? You will have no room for your plants and they will surely burn if they get to close to that light?

My room is smaller than yours, I have two lights, and a fan with less cfm than you and heat has never been an issue, you'll be fine! You could run that fan you linked to full-time when your lights are on if you have to and you won't have a problem, trust me!! :hug:

He should be able to fit 2-4 plants in there, in 2 or 3 gallon buckets. That's even with a little fimming. He's got 6 square feet, after all. I have just over 7 sq. ft. and I manage 6 hempy buckets (2 gallon).

I guess it depends on how you grow....I run two now plants and can fill up that entire space. photo 3.JPGIMG_0768.jpg

I have done 6, 4, 3 in that space, I was just thinking if it is vertical grow with no cool tube the light would need to be hanging higher over the plants as opposed to in the middle more at the plant level. Otherwise he only has a foot or so on each side. Anyway, sure he will figure it out as he goes ;)

Also regarding the two lights.....two 150 hps is going to run cooler than one 400 and you are starting in a cool space which helps as well. Trial and error, like everything on this board you will get lots of different advice and none is going to be perfect for your area because everyone has unique situations.

I am sure you have checked out the vertical grow section on this board....lots of good stuff!

I only fim about 2 weeks in, then give them another week, then flower. I also keep them right around 3 ft. at completion. As you said, different strokes for different folks. You can easily top or fim a single plant and get as much yield as 4-6 plants, no problem.

Good point on the lights.
