Hey guys, I got a dresser and the inside is 33'tall x 29' wide x 15'deep. And Id like to have 2 plants so i wanna plant maybe 4 and see if i can get lucky with 2 females :hump:

I would like to try using Led's and cfls to keep heat down since i work long hours and wont always be around. Ive been looking at several diff Led's and was wondering what you guys think would be ideal for me to get a decent yield with nice dense buds. I wanna Lst and fim them so what do you think about a 180w Jumbo ufo??? The maker is illuminator i believe. anybody know if these are reliable?? and what kind of Cfls are good for veg and flower??

I also have a reflective emergency blanket that i plan on lining the box with too, this is the same as mylar right??

Btw im sorry for this sloppy post il work on it :finger: haha

I suggest rolling over to the LED forums for help and issues with LED purchases.

However I will throw in my input, LED's are what you want to spend. Look at color bands, are you going for a veg or bloom color spectrum? Or are you going to try and grab an all purpose. The reflective blanket is great, as long as it is not one that creases. The other downside is the lining side can leave areas for mold and bugs to live just an fyi.

If you are going for 2 plants I would also build my own box for them if you are doing soil. You can build an exact base dimension box for your roots to go nuts in this will also utilize space and provide more locations to pull down branches with if need be.

Thanks for your time light house, okay il deff check that out. And I have no problem investing in a quality LED if itll do a good job in the cab and be reliable (not burn out right away). Do you have any suggestions on a all purpose LED I can get and mix with some cfls?? What do you mean build a box? do you mean not use the dresser?

That is a great way to go, I have never used those units however I have heard successful and seen grows with them. I purchased a bloom unit from growgoddess.com but they do not have various sizes and the length is too great for your space.

Build a box for your soil. You are doing 2 plants well you could do 2 pots however all that leftover floor space is pointless. To utilize the most out of your small base dimensions I would build a box so that the box is the exact dimensions of the base. Watering will be a breaze, and the roots will love the added room.

Wood works if you waterproof it but I suggest extra rubbermaids, worst comes you gotta cut one up and epoxy it back together. Diatamcheous earth as a topdressing helps greatly to prevent ANY bugs in your soil. But to prevent you from inhaling the shit cover it with a another layer of soil or coco whatever your medium may be.

If you are hydro you can still build a custom box but you must use epoxy and you must check for leaks. I say to build a box to utilize all your base space just like you want to do with your overhead space in the future (LST, net etc)

Is that light only for flowering?? Do you have any suggestions on cfls to get,
Hmm that looks a little unsettling. I would say they are flowering for sure with such deep reds. They have mixed reviews but here are some really nice ones that I know work as well but they are expensive...

Look for switchable vegatative and flower if you are looking for a one a done.

CFLS from HomeDepot the large ones with large reflectors are the best. The reflectors have ceramic sockets.
