kinda..the main goal is to pull down the nodes that are above the other nodes so when those 2 that are growing where you topped get bigger you want to tie those down so the lower ones catch up to them and makes them more bushy. I would keep vegging a couple more weeks till they really bush out

You could also set up a trellis net to help train your pants I set mine up at about 12" and tuck new growth under the netting until the tent is full and I also prune the lower branches that are shaded

I'll post some more pics in very soon. I just flipped to flower about 6 days ago so maybe they aren't showing sex yet. I'm not exactly sure to be honest.
