Need help with my Mars Hydro exhaust controller!

Hi my name is Tim, I recently purchased a 4"inline exhaust quiet inline fan with carbon filter and thermostat controller to controll when the fan comes on due to humidity or temp etc.. so my question is on my mars hydro controller I can't get my fan speed up past setting 10, which is weird cause when I first started playing with it I was able to get my fan speed in the 60s so I know the speed goes from 1 to 100. Can anyone or does anyone know how to set my fan speed higher?? Do I have to buy a whole Ned fan speed controller and plug it into the line #2 port? Which I don't think I should cause before I was able to get my fan speed up to the 60s. Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Reread fan and controller directions and manual.
I don't have the mars fan or controller but the ac infinity brand 4 inch and with the smart controller the speed setting is 0-10.
Before I had the smart controller I used the manual push button controller, similar to Mars hydro... No setting up to 60 70 or above to 100 percent.
Think of 10 as 100%
6 as 60%

Ok thanks, that's what I understand as the manual states. But when I just messed with the controller before reading directions, common male trait lol, I was able to bring my fan speed up to 68. I haven't been able to replicate it as now it only goes from 1-10. I was wondering if I just plugged in a variable resistor or a fan speed controller to the line 2 port, I wonder if that would hone in on the issue and do it again?? Thanks for the reply and that's how I'm looking at it now, even tho I heard and seen my fan work in the high 60 speed settings.
