better then
8000 lumen 130watt cfl??

Lux is simply lumens per square metre, so the answer to your question depends on the space you are using the light for...

my space is 28" by 18"

So you have 0.3266m2, which means your 8000 lumens (if you get a good reflector which was to spread most of that light over the area, and if you line your grow area with mylar or something) translates to a theoretical maximum lighting of 24000 lux at canopy level.

I think that should make the question of which would work better easier
