I have been growing from seedling in my second week under 2 32w 6500 t8s 24hrs they look great about to swith to my 600w M.H to finish veg then 600wH.P.S will this be ok and should i cut light time to 18-6?

When you switch to 18/6, they're going to stretch a little. I usually leave it at 27/0 for 2-3 weeks, then switch to 18/6. Its going to stretch either way, but at least when it does stretch it has a stronger stem.

def go with 18/6...the plants really need that downtime; that is when they will grow the most. plus u'll be able to control ur heat in the room better with the downtime. & u'll be saving energy=money.

how about the switch from the fluorescents t8s to the 600M.H?will that be ok?

no problem. I like to keep mine about 12" above the plants for this cycle; I use a 400w however. it is not like u need to wean them onto the light.

very nice i have good growth under the 2 fluros have 4 in fox farm soil and cant wait to switch to the M.H HPS combo
