Need help with fans

I have a grow tent 36" x 36" x 78", have a 600 watt dimable air cooled light with 6" flange. I actually have 2 x 240cfm fans. Here is my stupid question, do I attach the fan directly to the hood and pull the air across the bulb and run the exhaust duct off of that, or duct attached to the hood, then the fan? My first time with a grow tent.

my fan pulls air thru carbon scrubber ,and pushes thru light and out tent...peace

Yeah for maximum smell scrubbing mine is the same as Brimck. Filter --> Fan --> duct --> light/hood --> duct --> Out-take vent
