Go with a eco ph2 tester you want go wrong
Im sure you're right.. however I cant afford the 50$ price tag. I got alot of nieces n nephews to buy christmas presents for and I'd rather spend less on me and more on them.

I'm looking for the best of all those meters that run from 12-20$ theres about 15 in that price range on amazon.

thanks for your reply though brother. some day when i can afford it I will buy the Eco

This might not help, but I'll throw it out there. I bought a 120$ meter, and a 6$ set of drops and I use the drops to check the meter, go figure. Good luck

Honestly, there is no better option at that price. They all have mixed reviews, I would just go with any one with the most/highest reviews then do a bit more research and go from there. We had an expensive 100 meter and a cheap 10 dollar one and both had similar readings every time. None of them are spot on.

Hey, I've gone through like several different types of meters, el'eBay cheapos, not so cheapos, etc. Just get heaps of cheapos. The cheap ones, the good ones all crap out after a while.

Some of them, you're not allowed to let the price dry out! Some of them you need to keep them in a special juice.
Cheapos for me!

the one i got u just have to rinse off with distilled water then wipe the electrode with included lint free cloth.

also came with 6 packs of ph buffer powder to calibrate. it has good reviews too. should work out good.

i can get close to where i want with GH's ph kit but i hate having to trying and guess the color of 6.5 now ill be able to get my ph to a spot on 6.5
