Need Help with Aerogarden Grow

I cant figure out why my plants are yellowing with little brown spots would it be from Nutrient Solution Burn or BC my PH is to high. they started turning yellow in the past few days so today I got a PH kit and the waters PH was above 8.5 so I got fresh distilled water and flushed the old water witch was city water. and I'm using an aerogarden classic 7 pod with 3 part nutrient solution and I also have a 10 gallon fish tank Aerator runing 24/7. Plants r also ranging from 2 to 3 weeks old except the lil guy on the left. and I already know the aerograden is a small set up its my first grow i figured I'd start small. the pic's are attached

But any and all advice would be highly appreciated thanks in advance

Hey man. U must Keep it in the 5.5-6.0 range and if you're growing hydro, and for Christ sake get a decent PH/EC/TDS/Temp Meter This is the most important piece of gear you need right now and yet you're using test kits!

thanks for replying so fast but I'm on a low budget thats why I only have this little PH kit at the moment but I'm saving for an all in one digital PH/EC/TDS/Temp Meter. so once I get my meter where should all my ranges be? and should my plants recover from the shock or what ever has happened to them to make them turn yellow and get brown spots?

It looks like they are not taking up nitrogen This could be PH related. What are you doing to lower the PH? My tap water comes out 7.2 ish and always needs adjusting. Distilled water may not be PH neutral to begin with.

Yes mate they'll recover. They're very though! just keep pH in range and start to feed half strenght

I'm not using any thing to adjust the PH right now since I changed to the distilled water. the distilled water started at a PH of 7 but once the 3 part nutrients were added it was 6 and once added to the water reservoir in the aerogarden a day later it read 6.5 witch i figure as long as it stays between 5.8 and 6.5 it should be fine if I've done my research right. but the city water before I switched to distilled was a sky high PH at 8.5 or above. what is going to the best solutions to raise and lower the PH in the future tho

and the reason i switched to distilled is BC aerogarden company says its the best for it on there faqs site link: http://www.aerogrow.com/faqs/aerogarden-water.php

I know its only been a day or two but there starting to look more green than yellow the pH is staying right in range now. but will the little brown spots on some of leaves go away now or do I need to trim them when they get a little older or just completely forget about them and let it do its own thing?

thanks my guys:blsmoke:

all is starting to look better got some updated pics. but I dont think this would matter but I high lighted a part where its kind of just growing or opening up to the side is this normal or could it be trying to get light bc the PC fans I use have 4 bright blue LED's in them and some times I leave them on for air circulation when the grow lights are not on. I don't know maybe I'm just over think'n it

also I'm trying to decide what is the best light for upgrading. should I get the AG upgrade or a 125, 200, 250 watt fluorescent I'm open to suggestion but I'm trying to stay small and lowest heat possible due to small room not a lot of heat ventilation.

They look way better!! I think you should start feeding now at least at 1/4 dosage- Good work man +rep

thanks man and there on 1/2 tsp of the aerogarden 3 part nutrients per gallon and two drops of miracle grow. but I've read that to find the males u can put them on a 12/12 light cycle and then switch back to a 16/8 or a 18/6 is this true bc I would like to get rid of any males and give the females more root room

the males will show sex quick you just have to check them and just toss the ones with balls, try not to revert them.. It you like the plant just clone her given you have until week 4 in flowering to do so

here are some updated pic's and the nutrient solutions I'm using. should I go by there chart for adding nutrients? and how long should I leave them in veg state I was thinking of doing veg for another week and then switching to a 12/12 to flower BC I'm not trying to get them taller than my AG lights I still have another 3 notches for my lights. but I am going to upgrade my lighting after this grow I'm debating between a T5 2 ft - 4 lamp, 1 125watt CFL, or the AG light upgrade with 3 bulbs I have to stay with fluorescent due to temperature but if some one could let me know witch one would be better that would be great. and I know T5 put out 92.6 lumens per watt and cfl's can range 50 to 100 lumens per watt and the AG upgrade probably puts out 3000 to 4000 lumens total but there all about the same price I cant decide witch one would be more practical bc u also have to replace bulbs and 1 bulb is easier and cheaper to find and replace but 1 bulb is also not going to have as much surface area for light.

Im using the same nutes. My girl is 35 days old or so,and I still use only 1/4.Iam going to try and up it to 1/2 on all and see what happens.Im growing a dwarf strain auto flower and its full of buds.Back around day 20 or so I tried to up it to 1/2,but my leave were getting nute burn so I backed it down to 1/4 again.

how many plants are u growing pohaku bc with just my 4 there going though a little over a quarter gallon of water in a day or two but thats probably bc I have 4 plants in my AG I don't know the sexes of my plants yet thats y all 4 r in the AG. And with the nutrients I'm pretty sure it can be up'd u just gotta slowly do it especially if u only got 1 plant bc that one plant gets all that nutrients. "marijuana loves fertilizer just in slow amounts" I up'd my 4 plants slowly and I'm at 1tsp of all 3 nutrients per gallon and about to increase as chart says till flowering. but could be bc I have 4

I got one,and its about 2ft,and the roots are insane,it goes through a gallon of h20 in 3 days. I cant imagine what the roots are gonna be like with four.Im upping the nutes this weekend to 1/2,and maybe up it in 2 weeks again.

ya my three tallest are only 7 inches tall and my small one is about 5 1/2 inches. I'm thinking I might have to flower them to make sure there's no males but I only plan to keep two of my best in it and probably transplant if there are more than two females. and they are starting to fight for light

lil updated on how my AG plants look. it looks like there starting to fight each other for light and I still dont know the sex ratio yet I'm think of starting flowering after a another week of veg there about 4 1/2 weeks old tho. would that effect my harvest quality or quantity if I start flowering them at 5 1/2 weeks old? But next grow I'm defiantly only going to grow 2 or 3 plants at a time spread out in the AG one under each light BC there just to damn clustered even just at week 4.
