need help with a problem i can't diagnose

i just got a clone from a buddy of mine. i transplanted it on thur feb 25th. problem is she never perked back up. now some of the lower leaves are starting to yellow and curl up. i did give it a little more then half a gallon of water day after transplant. check out pics and let me know. thanks for the help. also the strain is strawberry cough if that helps.

My SC took about a week to recover from transplanting and is the least vigorous of any of my plants. Be patient, she'll perk up. Did you use B-1 root hormone? I recommend a dose of superthrive next time you water if not.

no i did not, the guy i got it from says only use miracle grow singles. he has been growing his strains for about 10 years or so and has experimented with a bunch of ferts he found this works best for vegging.

There are plenty of nutes in your soil for that plant, she is not underfed. SC does not like full strength nutrients. Give her 3/4 strength fert as a MATURE plant. Don't feed her anything but a root-stimulator or a transplant agent till she perks up.

here's the thing if your using miracle grow soil there is fertilizer in the soil and when you water it is released. But if your soil is inert and has no fertilizer and you haven't given any fertilizer at all than she needs food. Some transplant agents have fertilizer in them too just follow the directions and go like 1/2 strength and see how she responds.

cool thanks for the info. no i am not using miracle grow soil, i use miracle grow singles that are added to the water for feeding. i go 1/4 strength being that this fert is strong. so i will feed tonight, and update with pics tomorrow. crossing my fingers. thanks again everyone.

Google Rhizzotonic (if you don't know what it is). Plenty of food in the soil for a cutting that size, i would even have used a smaller pot than you have to fill up the root-ball more quickly & then pot up to this size & bigger if needed. You are making the plant work overtime in the roots department & the drainage will be effected down the road.

well i just checked her. great news she looks to be perking up :). after a couple agonizing days she looks better. i am excited again lol.
