Need help with a new grow please...

I planted 3 strains of Jack H. I'm 3 1/2 weeks in and the lower leaves started to yellow. I thought I might be over watering at first but the soil is bone dry and the plants seem to perk up after I water them. I went ahead and fed them with half strength of big blossom according to the feeding schedule. Just fyi. I water every third to fourth day if needed. I have them in a 2.5 X 2.5 grow room. Plenty of ventilation with a Mars hydro ts1000 led light. The plants are in ocean farm soil in 1 pint pots. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I have pics attached. Thanks for any feed back.

Hold the phone folks, before calling it nitrogen def, you need to rule out overwatering. See those drooping leaves and soaked soil? Let the pot dry out until it is LIGHT before you feed/water again.

I thought nute deficiency for two reasons. #1. They are bone dry and light before I re water. #2. These are small pots and I used the soil from the top of the bag of ocean farm. It felt like all the Peet was unmixed and settled to the top of the bag so I was thinking that there was not too much nutrition in the soil. It is very light (the soil) and almost water repellent. When I water it goes right through the pot and drains off. 2-3 days later it's bone dry and light as a feather. Does anyone think replanting into well mixed ocean farm might help??? Just a thought.

I think you might be on to something there. Are they in their final pots? I don't like messing with them much when small like that so that's a call you would have to make. Maybe someone with way more experience and knowledge can offer up an opinion. I have bad luck when it comes to the seedling stage. I wish you all the best and will be watching the thread.

ah fml .. i didn't even look at your pics lol my bad ... I'd wait about 2-3 weeks before transplanting. Their too small and frail to move atm

Yeah they def haven't outgrown the pot.... let it dry out as much as you can without overdoing it and mix the ffof well before you transplant once you transplant make sure the new soil is super saturated
