So long story short, I was gifted two plants my cousin had received and couldn’t take care of.

feeling a bit overwhelmed with getting everything setup as no one could tell me any info about them - at all - wether bottled nutrients or dry amendments, outside, inside, soil, literally nothing to go on except the tags that say “GOD” and “GC” ..
So any advice Is really appreciated!!

At the moment racing to set up my 4x4 tent, and right aways I notice some issues. They both have PM and possibly thrips (saw a few crawlers). Thankfully, they are no where near my other set-ups.

Never dealt with PM before, and wondering how could I deal with it in indoor grow setups. What’s worked best for you?

Thrips I’ve dealt with but welcome to advice or tips (except spinosad unfortunately as I’m in Canada)

You need to sulfur spray. Bonide sulfur, 30 ML per gallon of water.
Thanks for the advice on pm, I’ll pick some up first thing in the morning and do a full treatment. Would you recommend a light defoliation before or after to help airflow through the canopy? Or just spray and keep an eye on them?

Thought I’d post an update on these two girls.

it’s now day 4 since I received them, and what a busy 4 days it’s been..

Set up my 4x4 tent and got them in a much better environment. Every night I sprayed with a potassium bicarbonate Solution, and did a massive defoliation/lollipop.

last night I did a homemade solution spray of:
- 3tsp baking soda
- 2tsp eco-friendly soap (no dyes/unscented)
- 1tsp of canola oil
And sprayed when the lights went out, tops and bottoms of the leaves as well as the stalks. No defoliation then as I don’t want to stress them too much. Got to tying the branches down and doing some LST though.

dusted diatomaceous soil on the topsoil to add extra silica but also treat the thrips. Still notice some thrips but will do separate treatments with 2 other thrip killers to kick their ass for good and continue to hand squish anything I see by hand.

Today I just made sure to add extra airflow and make sure everything’s healthy. Watered the “GC” with a Ph of 6.5 as she looked droopy.

It’s felt like a war but feeling like I have a good chance, Any advice or tips are welcome! Thanks all
