Need help with 12/12 knowledge.

hey there, im trying to decide whether to go with perpetual autos or perpetual 12/12 from seed.

i will be using a hydro setup with T5's, Leds and a uv bulb for trich growth. Advanced nutrients and a little co2 in a 2 feet wide, 4 long, 3 high box. ventilation, circulation and temps are all good.


Approx how much do you get off each 12/12? I understand there are many variables which contribute to this, all the information i can make available is above so please use your discretion

Is a 3"x3"x4" hydro jar enough room for each plant?

Preferable strains from prior batches? (based on the quality of the smoke, the weight, then the ease of growing.)

Please only genuine knowledge from previous grows, what you have seen with your own eyes not what is written on the ad selling the seeds.

Why not spend a little extra time in growing photoperiod plants? Cut it down to two plants and train them to fit your grow. Give them at least a three week veg and I think you will be much happier with yields. I guess you can grow autos if that's your thing but I don't see any reason to.

I would rather properly grow one really kickass plant than 2 or three so-so plants. The only difference is time and patience.

As far as strains, grow what you like. I just finished some Emerald Triangle "Lost Coast OG" that is absolutely killer. It was easy to grow and took anything I gave it. Finished at 3 feet tall (SCROG). If I supercropped during flower I could have gotten it shorter but I have enough height to let it go.

I have a semi perpetual 12/12 grow,but I use soil and mexi-brick seeds.Ive had 5 harvests this way with 4-6 plants each time and have gotten half ounce plants to plants almost 3oz.My last few harvests have been consistent 1.5 oz plants and from what ive seen 1.5oz(42g) is about avg....I think.You should just use regular photoperiod seeds, you will def have better results/ higher yields.Hope this info helps,any questions just ask.GL.peace

does anyone know about the container size for hydro 12/12 seed/clones? is 3L x 3W x 4Height (in inches)

2 five gallon or 3 3 gallon. I would do two 5 gallon. I have a tent that is the same size only a foot taller. If I were to flower in it I would use two 5 gallon pots.

Are you using DWC? I grow in coco so my pot size may not apply if you are growing DWC. I missed the part where you said hydro. Coco is hydro but it's not F&D, NFT or DWC. Are you growing in a tote?

What kind of container are you using?and are gonna use???Im a soil guy but I can still give basic hydro advice

i ended up using 2 15gal busser bins with a top that holds all the plants and floats on the top of the water.

in 1 15g i put the blue widow and a couple chessedogs. in the other i put the bw clones and the other dogs. ill upload some pics of the final product
