Imagine that is an extension cord you can buy anywhere, i got mine from walmart the part where i have /----/ is what you should cut off the cord

then wire the one end to your light fixture then with the other end that has nothing wired to it.. wire the plug part }----- to your light fixture AS WELL AS the part of the card that has nothing wired to it. tape everything off and your good to go. all your doing is matching colors.. the green wire is the ground wire and white and black is positive, negative.

you dont have to cut off both ends of the cord...
just cut off the end that you plug stuff into and split that, strip it and wire it to your fan...

Is it possible for any of you to post pictures?
gee kid your a pain in the ass...

lol ... im just playin man... it's simple,,,
Heres something I just wired up for you so you could get the idea...

in this pic tho. i used a fan .. not a computer fan but like a bathroom exaust fan...
same concept as your light fixture just picture my fan being your light fixture,

in pic 1 is the materials I used...
get an extension cord 6ft 8 ft or whatever.. some black electrical tape or wire nutz, a set of wire strippers (or knife) and your fixture...

pic 2 ... cut the end off of the extension cord where you plug things into. (recieving end) and cut about a half inch of plastic off to bare the wires..

pic 3 shows how the cord should look after you cut the cord on your light fixture do the same thing

pic 4
twist them together, positive and negitive is a 50/50 shot if they are not color coated so just pic one off the light fixture and one off the extension cord and twist them together, then do the same with the other wire coming from each ..

pic 5
screw wire nuts onto the end of each wire (2) (recomended) if you dont have any wire nuts for exlectrical use, use black electrical tape and tape over the xposed wires and plastic good...

then plug it in... if your fixture does not work , undo your wire nuts or tape and switch the wires (this is where your postive and negitive might of got mixed) then plug it in and wala

make sure you tape it up real good to.. because if the tape slips off and the wires come undone then everything stops and if your not home that's bad news
