Do you have a certain method of hydroponics in mind, say drip, ebb and flow, aero or DWC? I tell you this, hydroponics, once you have the basics down, is a lot less work than growing in soil. Better yields too.

Botanicare cocogro moisture control. I just switched and love it. Faster growth. But you must treat like hydro and nute everyday. No real need for flood to waste. Just flush with 3 times the container size with water every 2 weeks or so. Mostly when doing changes in additives

Lucas formula and big bud, you are screwed.. I just tried this. Trust.. Big bud as a strain is nut sensitive.. Go dwc.

I use coco and flora duo with a few additives. I have 3 gallon and 7 gallon smart pots that I top feed. I do drain to waste so the runoff goes into a bucket. I water once for twice a day for a total of 2-3 minutes max with a pump and 1/4" line, no emitters. A 55 gallon drum lasts me for about a week. I run my nutrient about 50% to 75% strength.

I highly recommend drain to waste, recirculating nutrients with coco is an exercise in futility.
