Need help RIU people!!!

ok my seedlings just wont come up, or they just die ok here's my germinating process, i get a wet paper towel wet it, put it in a plastic bag then they i see the root you know the deal then i plant it in a party cup fool of dirt, put a 1/4 inch hole plant my seedling root facing down cover it up, an now its been 3 days an no sign of life this has happend before i dont know what it is, seriously what is it. i water by using a spray bottle like to keep the soil moist but no luck i dont know what im doing wrong, could it be the soil or over spraying or what plz help me, im sorta new at this so if im doing something wrong let me know. i got an indoor grow box the temps are 79 degrees humidity is at 25% i got 2 x 42w 5000k for veg, but like i said i cant veg if nothings grows you know what i mean so help me out or give a newbie some good advice.

Never start your seeds with paper towels and you need the humidity to be around 80-90% for germing seeds.

how is that off topic mr root bound? did he not say he put the seed in dirt? and i have 100% success using the paper towel method.. and im sure many many more people do too... there is more than one way to skin a cat bra

hey im actually doing that ziplock thing too but do i gotta open it up a few times a day or just kepp it under 18/6 light cycle and im using some walmart dirt idk its some cheap shit and yea just some regular water that i let sit out in the sun for like 2-3 days.

using words like "never" makes you sound cocky.. like you know everything... and like you have a rule book that we all MUST fallow... like telling me its "never" good to take my plants outside... you ever heard of subcool? well i have and he does it.. he is good enoughto be able to sell his seeds.... so i feel pretty safe trusting him... you just need to open your mind a little and wake up to the FACT that there is more than your way of doing this...

Never had a rootbound plant ever and there is more than one way to skin a cat but a certain way of skinning that cat is to use the easiest and most efficient way and that apply to starting seeds as well.

Here's my advice dude...
Do the paper towel thing. Keep the paper towels in complete dark for a few days until they're rooted. Place them in your party cups or whatever receptical you prefer. Make sure your hands are clean. Soil matters, but not always the biggest factor, I'm sure it's probably fine.
Next, water them with the spray bottle until moist. Then wrap those babies up in a clear plastic bag and put very close to light. This helps keep massive humity that they need, and you won't have to worry about watering during that time because the moisture just stays locked in! After a day or so they should be sprouted. once they're sprouted. Once they're sprouted you want to take them out of the bag so that they can get the good light that they need so they don't stretch! Stretching infants= bad news!
Once you get that going you should be all right! Good luck ;)

Never use towels as no professional horticulturist or gardener would use that method for starting any kind of seed and this paper towel nonsense is STILL sadly being given out to newbies as a way to start seeds and i think its a joke that people actually still do this damage to their seeds resulting only with problems to occur.

i use the paper towel method but i sit them onna plate , cover with a bowl and dump them sumwhere warm and dark( my girls pussy would be best but i'd really like to get them back without the associated smell), 3 to 4 days usually does it , then i pop them in pots with potting soil(nutrient free!!) and put them inna heated propogator and spray the soil lightly and spray the hood 3 or 4 times a day, i use a 2 x 55 watt fluro tube hood usually takes another 3-5 days to pop thru, i only water them with atiny little drop in next to the shoot(and im talking about a spit full of water here), if u dont have a propogator then cut a coke bottle in half and pop it over the top of the pot, again spray the inside. ive had a 100% success rate, only thing ive ever had die on me is two clones, and a few relationships.

I would raise your temps to around 90 deg f. Also ph the water to around 5.5. oh yeah i also start my seeds in paper towels with about 80 - 90 % success.

look by no mean is my way the only way or the best way but it is a way that works.. and its easy.. after they sprout i just open the zip lock and slide it up on the cup and gradually take it off over the next few days for a couple hours a day... to kind of let it adapt to the change in humidity.. and as soo as they sprout they dont need a wholelot of lifht. a bright window seal will work for the first 4 to 7 days.. just spin the cups to make them spindal.. this toughens the stem a bit.. some people bend them a little a few times a day but i just barry them deeper and deeper every time i transplant... then for the final transplant i barry them all the way close to the round leaves... hiut me up if i can help... im not going to tell you there is only one way... just geta basic understanding for what the palnts needs are and acomidate them as well as you can peace bro

there he goes using the word never as if its his way or no way... and professionals do use that method... but really does it mater? tell me one reason other than the fact that you seem to be scarred to open your mind to any method you or those who you consider "professional" use... why not use it? its cheap and works... whats wrong with it? i want to hear some science?

ok thanks guys for the info hopefully they pop up if not do u recommend some non expensive soil if that might be the issue again thanks every one.
