I just bought some cherry pie and OG 18 clones that have hairs on it I didn't really check the clones and I just pick it up. I called the guy that sold me the clone and he said that it's not preflower clone he said he had it under the lights 24/7. My question is can the clones fully reveg and how long will it take to reveg and how long should i keep the clones under the lights for? I'm planning to mother these clones and clone them myself. I had this problem last year and my plants grows and stops and grows again and it flowered really early and the buds didn't really dense up. Damn should of check it out more throughly.

Well seeing if anything the time it took to even begin flowering (least a week and a half to produce flowering hormones) will take some time to diminish and revert back to focusing on growing the plant out and those hormone it needs to build back up to even begin the process- so time will be a variable, however, preflowers/green hairlike things are part of the vegging start, preflowers just means its ready to be flowered.

i recently went through almost exact same thing. bought some clones, they had hairs and pre flowers on them - some eventually turned brown, veg'd them for a month under 24/0 then 18/6 and now have em in 12/12 and all hairs are white, dont know what happened to the brown ones but they gone. i'm hoping that they will flower like normal, all signs point to yes as the plant is beginning to form white hairs at the colas sites and none have hermied

just sounds like maturity to me. u have to remember clones are an exact replica of its donor age and geneticly. U can take a clone anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks veg until abt 4 to 5 weeks into flower. If the clones u have were previously in flower then just put them under 24/7 for abt 2 weeks and they should snap back. spray them good nd u should be fine. also when making mothers from clones u want to be sure u knw that its a early generation of good genetics. peace

I'm gonna have these plants under the lights 24/7 for a month and the plant should be big enough to take clones. This is for outdoor grow I don't do indoor grow so I have 2 months to go. eyeless667gak you mean spray the leaves down every day?

yup. spray the leaves dwn a couple times a day. clones love humidity as well. i reveg back to 24/7 from abt 2 weeks in flower often. never have problems with the plants. just give em a lil time. cheers

under t5's nah, i spray my clones several times a day under a dome and 24/7 light and they never burn, if anything they perk up for a while then they lay flay again lol. this goes on for a bout a week then when they perk up and no longer need mistings to stay perky they are ready for a transplant and a new home out of the dome!

wow...just let them veg at 18/6 for as long as it takes for them to be growing vegetatively...it takes about 2 weeks...all the first new growth might look weird, but it will get normal in no time...and if they aren't actually flowering but just showing preflowers then oh well...don't worry about it...just root and flower or whatever you are planning to do. I take clones often in flowering late and early...makes for a very branchy plant which I like...so...

Yea I'll see how it goes and probably gonna get some more clones just for safety. Last year bought some clones preflowered and didn't know so I had it under the light 18/6 for few weeks and then I put them in the ground and they flowered early and it grows and stops and only one leaf was showing then 3 and those plants suppose to be monsters and they were like 6 feet tall only and the yield sucks because it bud stop and bud again and I only got like 1lb out of those 6 plants.. 1lb out of 6 6 feet tall plants........
