The spidermites I had used to makes lots of little dotted white/yellow holes, like lots of little pin heads, it definitely didn't look anything like you;ve got but all you need to do to check is look under your leaves, they're (mites) less than a millimetre but you can see them. If you did or ever do get them use Vitality Plant+ to get rid, one spray and they're gone.
