Need Help Please!!!

Ok my plants are just over a week old and they are in jiffy cubes. The problem is they are too long. They are like 6 or 7 inches and are starting to fall over. What is wrong or what do I need to do. Also my lite is 6 to 7 inches away. I have them on flourescent for now. Thanks

How far are your lights away? they are stretching to meet the light. With fluoros you only need to be a few inches away.

cph is right, they're streching. Move the lights to 2" away. Maybe have to stake them up too.

Light is like 7 inches

You only need to 2" maybe 3" away. Just far enough not to burn them. Right now the tops of my veg plants is touching the light with no problems.

what floro . light are you using

A red plant 6500 and a daylight 6500 blue. I want to go hydro but i started these cheap seeds out of one of my bads that was good and I need exerience but this still sucks to spend the time and money I spent on these cheap ass seed to die

re plant them up to the seed leaves and keep a fan on them to strengthen the stalk

Their not dead yet. Move your lights closer and prop them up with a popcicle stick or something. They will be fine.

Ok then two more questions 1 if i plant them to the seed leafs they wont rott? and what normal soil can i buy from a store that works well i have now growing stores and they only have the normal shit. I would order fox farm but like I said I want to order hydro stuff and go that way. I would order both, but me and my wife are going to the cup this year to get so high I throw-up and eat some space cakes and shit.

They only addative the have is perlite. I have some miracle grow organic, but i think its shit cause it is full of wood chips and dries too fast.
