So, you are going to be using 1 tote? If so I would say just do 1 plant inside of it. You should have at least 100 watts per plant (good rule of thumb). Depending on the wattage of the bulbs, you can have 4 26 watt CFLs. If I were you, I would say 6 or 8 lights (if they are 26 watts). I would do 4 lights on top, and 2 lights on each side (to promote good side growth). You do not want all the lights on the top if the undergrowth cannot get light, that will result in not very big nugs on those branches.

Well for starters you probably won't get far with just one, I stacked two on top of each other and it might be enough for 2 plants.

It would be perfect for one, but I'm squeezing two in there. How many bulbs depends on the watts. I've got 6 23 watt 6500k bulbs right now , and plan to throw in like 4 more.

Pc fans at RadioShack or staples. Like 10 bucks for those I have they are 140mm. Got and old linksys router power supply 12v just spliced it all together.

I use 2 RubberMaid totes. One on top of the other... I have 4 fans total & 12 cfls in it. When you use 2 bottoms it gives you alot more room instead of using the cover than comes with it. I have them zip tied in the back.. it makes for easing opening and closing without having to take the whole entire top off! & the smell I have scented rocks on top of the exhaust hole.

Looking into the box from exhaust hole & the box itself. I know it looks like it gives off alot of light but I had to lighten it up.

nothing wrong with single totes, i think its easier to set the lights with just one container anyways. Im running a single 30 or 40 gallon rubber maid, just takes up less space. Fits a good 240 watts though
