i don't think you are close to flowering...

are you adding nutes to your water? what type of light are you using?

seems like your plant is growing slow

its growing really slow...I was using a ...erm...cant remember.. but I replaced that light with 3 fluorescent bulbs today, each 20Watt, low energy consumption, 1300luments each...the plants are close to eachother now, so there is a lot of light---I think they should grow faster now...I used to water the plants with a Biologic fertilizer...with nitrogen,...although I'm not sure about the %age...I'm going to use more from now on---

1-2ft would be a good time to start flowering. some strains double or triple in size when flowering. also, i believe the recommended lumens for growing/flowering is around 15,000. right now i'm using 5 cfls rated at 2,900 lumens each. read more about cfls here.

yeah u should easily be able to get 2600+lumens in 1 CFL (the ones i was using was 42 watts)

Get the CFL's closer to your plants, about 1 inch, looks like some are stretched as it is

I would start flowering as soon as you have 4-6 nodes.. do not wait until the plant is 1-2 feet tall.. That will require MORE light than you have..

Once you start flowering (12/12) your plant will have an enormous growth spurt...

I am a bit concerned that you are a new grower and you dont have perlite in your soil..

It is very important that you use correct watering technique... you should be watering very very heavily- .5 - 1 gallon of water every 3-10 days (depending on room temp and plant size)... only water when the pot is very light and the soil is dry.. then totally soak your soil...

cheers

do you pH your water? you need to!! this is VITAL!

ook, I'll soak the plants...eccept...I wont put perlite and stuff...and my lamps only are 1300 lumens each...and I have 3 lamps for 4 plants---urgh..I'll post a few photos tomorrow... anyway I tried to transplant one of the plants in a bigger pot, it seems to be happy...the problem is...I think I can see the nodes in all four plants I have...but I'm not sure if they're nodes or new leaves which are coming out...I have no idea and need help!!! because I'm leaving my plants for a week soon,,,,and need to know what cycle to use..

cheers :D

You should really be using something to help with water drainage in your grow medium. Perlite or even some clean gravel so the plant/s won't drown.

Yo Farmer :)

IF you are only using 3 cfls.. you need to flower when you have 4 nodes.. nodes are very obvious.. Basically any growth coming off the main stalk is a NODE!!

I agree.. the roots should NEVER be sitting in STILL water!!!
(there are exceptions in certain aeroponic systems)

ok ok good ideas...very good ideas....the problem is...

my plants are in small pots

every pot is about 18cm tall and 15 cm wide...two pots (out of five)are even smaller

should I get taller pots and transplant my plants in the new taller pots???...and while doing this I could add gravel into the growing medium---because in the small pots the plants dont have a lot of space to develop roots and other stuff, do they? how big should the gravel be??? around 4mm???can it be thick??

I'll make some pics now and post them...a picture of every plant, pot and of how much soil is in the pot..and also the growing room...the problem is that my room is now completely dark!!!damn!!!

I Would Wait Until Your Plant Is About 15 To 18 Inhes Tall At Least Before You Start The Flowering Step. A 15 Inch Plant Will Grow To About 2 Feet During Flowering Maby 3 Feet. You Will Not Be Abile To Tell Sex Until About 1 To 2 Weeks Of Flowering

I WOULD WAIT UNTIL YOUR PLANT IS ATLEST 15 TO 18 INHES TALL BEFOR FLOWERING. IF YOUR PLANT IS 15 INHES TALL IT WILL GROW TO 2 TO 3 FEET DURING FLOWERING.
