NEED Help On Lighting!!!

ok so i just bought this 118 by 59 by 78 grow tent from ebay and i want to throw in maybe thirty 3 gal or 5 gal grow bags in the tent for the grow and im going to be using pro mix with fox farm nutes my question is will 2 600 watt non air cooled mh/hps lamps be good for this setup is that enough light or not enough light? any advise is good

Oh and also are MH bulbs any good for flowering i read somewhere that mh bulbs are better for budding than hps bulbs i think it was SKUNK magazine

no you have it the opposite way around hps for flowering hm for veg...... and unless you have other ventelation you might need to vent your lights

Your gonna need about six (6) 600 watt lights to flower that much area. Figure one 600 watter is good for a 3'x3' area = 9 sq feet. you have almost 50 sq feet of space 50/9=5.5 or rounded up to 6.

HPS is a MUCH MUCH better light for flowering. MH does well vegging plants but HPS is the king of flowering lights!! You have your facts backwards.

Having 3600 watts of light makes cooling and ventilation an absolute MUST. even 2x600 will need some kind of venting.
