Hey there! i have a plant of cheese from gh, 3 months old, almost ready to flower (it was 1 month before, but i decided to prune the top and then it took another month) . altough, at the last week the new leaves are not opening and developing as the rest of the plant did! the pot is quite small, kind of 3l and the plant is like 45 cm... i noticed that THE MAIN STEEM, CLOSE TO THE SOIL, IS TURNING BROWN!!! does anyone knows what that means? is the brown steem just normal or a sign of something?? apreciate any replies, thank you!

mine also did that just figure the stem is getting older and turning into a bark like a tree does the older it gets dont qoute me on this but its what i thought of mine and didnt seem to change the way mine has been growing

Working in the dark without pictures, However, the "brown stem" would probably be your plant maturing & turning "woody". At least that what my girls always do. Good luck & good grow.......BB

tap 007.JPGtap 009.JPGtap 004.JPG thank you guys, got me way less worried, but still have doubts if i should transplant or not ( always tend not to do it, cause im not really experienced and afraid of doing shit and kill my daughters!!) what you guys think? photo 1 is my cheese, put a cocacola beside it so you can get a notion of the size, the plant is not flowering yet, do you think the pot will be big enough for the flowering?????? photo 2 is the brown steem. photo 3 is my afghani wich is second or third week flowering, is that pot big enough for the rest of the flowering???? best reguards bros!

If you look under the pot at the holes can you see any roots coming thru ? From what information I have gathered so far is that your plant will double maybe even tripple in size during the flowering cycle so ya I would maybe switch to a 5 gallon bucket just my thoughts I dunno but it's what I would do

The stems are fine and those are two healthy looking plants, the pots look just about right what size pots are they? I think you can get away with a 3 gallon pot, but others use 5 or even larger, but since your plants are smaller I think you fine

bern, your girls are just fine. The thing to remember is that you pretty much "set" the size of your girl in the initial container selection.
The girls will always grow proportional the given growing media area. If you wish to disrupt the "set" and transplant to a larger container, you always chance stressing them and stress could cause hermies....very bad. In the future, you might want to consider the finished size you desire and select the container accordingly. I use 10 gallon storage tubs for my girls. If I don't top and fim, the salivas can attain 16/18 feet in them. I wish you Good luck & good grow.......BB
