Hi all, Noobie here.
I made a hydro system and it malfunctioned long story short.
It was an NFT system, the water was getting way to hot and I started to see root rot.
There were lots of pure white roots coming out the bottom of the pot still.....
I've put them into a box layered with hydroton at the bottom to catch the runoff, then I added nutrient water...
There's water sitting at the bottom for now so they won't drown.
They don't look over watered and they're been like this for half a day.
I have lots of spare parts etc to make up something but I'm just not sure what to do...
Thanks.
I've been hand watering from the top and will drain the runoff when it gets above the hydroton at the bottom?
They are 5 weeks old ones an auto white widow the other ones a femanized yumbolt..
WHAT DO I DO WITH THEM NOW?
Be a shame do throw 2 plants away.
I have 4 others in another system that seem OK. Do I cut my losses?
ARE THEY WORTH SAVING?
Any help is appreciated.
