Hi guys,

12-13 days old photoperiod blue dream 5x
hydro bucket dwc with dripping system.
airstone is OK
pH is 5,5-6,5 (checking and correcting daily)
tent temp was 27 C
water temp 24,5 C

Girls were looking good yesterday night.
But now,looks as pictures below.

used drinking water (50ppm)
and added sensi grow a-b, b52,vodoo juice and cal mag extra
ppm is 300 now.

light height was 60cm
I turned on second light yesterday and let it 60cm both of them.
because coverage was not enough with only a led. (bucket bottoms are 30cm)
I made leds 90cm this morning as soon as I see them drying and leaf are looking bottom

fan is 7/24 running
humudity is 85-90

veg week 1

led : viparspectra V600 (600W x2)

thanks for comments.

why are you running a dripper on dwc?
temps are too high, you want late teens, early 20s
i also feel the humidity is too high, i would personally have it 75 max
give it time, roots havent established yet so wont be drinking loads

I've run a dripper with a dwc system, roots have to make their way down to the water somehow, once the roots touch
the water then its all good.
hand feeding is better imo
i dont see the point of drippers unless in coco?
looking at the OPs picture it seems the leaves are drooping down, usually a sign of over or under watering
we know that its not being underwaterd as we can see the pebbles are wet, i would go with overwatering by the dripper....is the dripper taking water from the dwc res or elsewhere?
if its the dwc res is it being oxygenated by an air pump?

hi,

I stoped the dripping system and make the height of the leds 90cm.
after 6 hours sleep, everything is good now.
I saw and read a couple of articles that dripping water from its own res makes it faster and stronger.
Looks it's kind of wrong because dripping was running 7/24.

so,can you please answer that are 2 leds (90cm with 25-26C and 85rh humidity) is ok?
or should I turn off one of the led? and use only one as 60cm?

viparspectra V600 / 600W

Clay balls and coco work great with dripper systems, hell i could throw a bunch of marbles in the basket and with a dripper they would root fine.

The pump takes the water from the res, so it's actually RDWC, the water fall you get from that dripper is giving you a water fall effect, air stones/air pumps are a complete waste of money.

Air stones are really over rated, you simply don't need them end of story.

@eski-g- Your dripper can still cause dry pockets, i would try for a full 360deg dripper.

lol if you say so

rockwool will give issues if wet all the time. try rapid rooters next time: i use them in my waterfarms and they have no troubles staying wet all the time with drippers.

i would skip both of them for now. just your base nutes and cal/mg.

what are you using to prevent root rot?

and pictures in white light make it easier to diagnose

thanks for caring.

I'm now germinating 2 of indica auto.I'll give a try for rapid rooters (is this same as jiffy?)

my girls are just 14 days old and I did not use anything for root rot.

these are what I got :
AN series.
Sensi grow a-b
Sensi bloom a-b
sensi cal mag extra
b-52
vodoo juice
overdrive
big bud
sensyzm
revive

they are now darkness. only an hour left to turn the led on. I'll post it as well.

humidity is near 85-90rh. is this ok?

thank you so much

similar. peat based starter plugs.

i would start simple with nutes. base nutes and cal/mg if using RO water.

and yes, figure out what you will use for rot. hydroguard, perosxide, chlorine, etc.

humidity is a bit high. maybe 60 to 70% is better.

you sure your pH is in range of 5.5 to 6.1?

You could attempt to cut off the rockwool are plant directly in the hydroton
You will shock it bit it might survive
Or soak the cube in a dilute h2o2 mix and replace hydroton with sterile stuff
