Need help figuring out which way to go.

Ok so it's prime day and I have a $115 Amazon gift card. Before the night is over I plan to pick up a tent, and light.

I know this isnt the greatest set up in the world, but I need help staying within it's limitations. The easy part is Vegging a plant and using it for clones for my 3x3. I use a Nextlight core in my 3x3 so I expect great results. This low end set up I don't expect much from, but I want to learn, and practice different grow methods. So I have some auto seeds and some photo seeds and some fast seeds. I think I want to try DWC or Kratky, but I'm not so sure about SCROG vs SOG. My concern comes from "plant maturity", I really don't know much on the subject. In a SOG I think you let the plant grow to about 12" in veg and then Flip to flower, but the plants haven't matured yet right? Would I be better of using clones for a SOG? Would I just be better off growing 1 auto and SCROG? I don't know, I bought the auto's by accident, so I can always save them for when I pick up another 3x3 later in the fall. Any suggestions? The main point of this set up is that its basically free cause the gift card was free, so I think my priority is to learn how grow and decide what kind of grow medium I will ultimately use. I'm currently use soil, but I'm hydro curious. Not really enthused about coco.

The light is a little under powered for a 2x2. You should get at least 150w true power to fill out a 2x2 in flower. That light would be good for keeping a mother though. A SUNRAISE qb2000 would be perfect for flowering out a 2x2.

Yes using clones they will flower readily at a smaller size than seed starts.

YES, just what I was looking for, $117.00 Survey Monkey gift card and$59.00 out of pocket.........I almost passed, nobody answered my post and I got cold feet thinking about stretchy anorexic plants. Then at 11pm I stumbled across the Sunraise deal and snapped it up just before the end of prime day. Some people may snob up about it, but $59 for a tent and a light is cool beans.

Since youre the only person to reply so far, how about picking the plant and grow style...The plan choices are I have 1 girl scout cookie seed, Avenue of the Giants (F2) from twenty20 Mendocino or Killer Kush fast version from sweet seeds. Kratky or DWC, and oh I forgot about nutrients I would ask but I'm sure I'm gonna go Advanced VEG, Micro and Bloom. Thanks!
