To be honest, now that I think about it, that transplant might have been a killer. If it was your pH, then it had nothing to do with your old soil and the trauma of the transplant and root manipulation might prove lethal. At this point, I'd leave it alone and pray, but its up to you. If it survives, bonus for you! If not, start again, it's not so bad.

It won't die. If it made it to 3-4 weeks, the root structure should be pretty well developed. Now its just about micro-managing to get the most out of your plant. I wouldn't cut the leaves, its just more trauma.
If the soil ph is bad it has no root system and that is why misting 6X a day is vital. You must make sure the soil and the mist water are in the correct ph range.

The soil had to be changed it was horrible the numbers I gave were on the soil I have in the pot now. And two more leaves have sprouted.
