Need help... day 18

Hey guys first time poster/long time reader, anyways was wondering afew things. Would it be better to just sit this plant in the sun during the day or under a red 110v150w light(single plant in 5 gallon bucket) also it seems to be moving very slow. Could that be because I germinated seed with a peat pellet and planted it with the biodegradable net. I was watering her in the morning everyday..is that to much? Where do I go from here guys? Should I top it soon?

Hey and welcome @BWestN2shoes what temps are you talking about in the sun and how many hours?
If temp is suitable and you can get a few great hours in the sun, why not...(bugs?l)
Peat pellets are alright, not m issue PR roots but the biodegradable (peat) cup can inhibit growth, the roots have to push through so are slowed...
Is it soil or coco you transplanted into?
Soil doesn't need watered daily, coco does.
Topping is advisable from 4th node on (usually about 3+ week old) but depends what you want to achieve with topping..

North Carolina summer so mid 80s to mid 90s right now. 10 to 12hrs of sunlight (but its cloudy sometime) bugs can be a pain but no sight yet
Using soil please dont laugh(miracle grow)lol @JimmyNuggs also I put the bucket up in my small shed at night and put the red 110v150w bulb on it. I'm guessing that's too much?

Sounds like you need to decide if you want an outdoor grow or an indoor grow. I would suggest going to www.growweedeasy.com and reading their beginners guide. If you want to grow outside then just leave it outside. If you want to grow inside then you will need a suitable growing area, that blocks all light, and a light that is suitable for the square footage of your growing area. That lamp looks more like a heat lamp to me than anything.

Wise words from @TreeFarmerCharlie of course @BWestN2shoes , a more suitable medium. :hump:
Good luck (oh n short answer if your happy to move your girl as required go for it: that 150w will do but obviously no promises on it's performance.

dunno what lamp exactly youve got, anyway, sun/artificial combos are totally ok, a lot of ppl does it. what strain youve got there?

Hey guys thanks alot for the help. Its suppose to be Acapulco Gold. I'm at lowes right now is there anything I could pick up while I'm here lol. I'm about to germinate some AK seeds. Maybe try a different soil like the black organic MG? Or where can I buy the fox stuff or perlite?

Find a local garden shop and they should have better soils to choose from.
