Okay right now my grow room is a closet with the walls and shelves painted white with my plant in a good size tupperware that i punched holes into. Useing one 65 w CFL in a $10 hanging desk light i got from home depot.

Its growing but needless to say its not the best. So I want to redo my area after I harvast which unbelieveably im going to harvast.

I am going to write down everything Im thinking about doing any help tips advice or changes you can offer will be greatly helpful as this will be my second attempt.

im going to start by cleaning and repainting the walls. Then Im going to hang mylar from the walls and floor to help reflection. I doubt I have the money for a HPS light system but I will look into it and see if I can get a fixture from the hardware store for cheap and then try and find some cheap hps lights. If not then I will be going with a higher watt CFL or a few plant lights from home depot any thoughts on those? My closet space is about 6 feet high and about 5 feet wide with about 2 1/2 feet in depth. So if I do not use a HPS system I will be getting about 3 Hanging Light fixtures with a 100 watt CFL placed in all of them maybe a higher watt? The Area will have 2 small fans placed on the floor both facing the wall to help circulation ventaltion and to simulate wind so my plants will grow stronger with thicker stems. I will keep a large fan on the unused top shelf (where my lights will be hanging from to help air movement also. I will have 2 mercury thermometer hanging on opposite walls for accurate temp measurements. I will also be using some Ph test kits for the soil. :!:I will be keeping a Ph of about 6 if Im right??? :!: and a tempature of 75-80 degree with lights on 60-70 with lights off.

:!:Lights will be ran for 18-6 during vegging Im thinking about 24 hours though for vegging not sure any advice?
Flowering will of course be a 12-12.

Now for the plant set up. :!: I want my plant to grow about 1.5 feet before flowering so should I use a one gallon pot or bigger? I have thought about setting up a tank or something for hydroponics but I'm not sure about it yet.
The soil I will be using will be homemade

LC’s Soiless Mix #1:
5 parts Canadian Spaghnam Peat or Coir or Pro-Moss
3 parts perlite
2 parts wormcastings or mushroom compost or home made compost
Powdered (NOT PELLETIZED) dolomite lime @ 2 tablespoons per gallon or 1 cup per cubic foot of the soiless mix.
...Wal-Mart now sells worm castings.

with this for the feed the guano tea and kelp from https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/190926-best-soil-mix-rep-good.html

Now I am unsure how much to water a plant in a one gallon pot. Ive thought about every other day but I think I will just use the finger test and when i can get about knuckle deep with out filling moisture Ill water thats about 3 inchs.

Again Any help and advice will be good please.

I will only be growing one plant maybe 2 if my budget permits

First off, yes. More lights. 6500K with a few 2700Ks. Use more, lower wattage lights rather than fewer hight wattage lights.
3 gallon planters.
You will need a chamber that is at least 3 foot wide, 3 foot deep, and 4 foot high painted flat white.
The 3 gallon planters will house a nice 1.5 foot vegged plant-plants double and even triple when they flower.
Three gallon planters are also 13" tall and the lights will take up about 6" at the least of your ceilings headroom so about a foot and a half of that 4' is gone.

I hope this gets you going in the right direction.
