Need help comparing these lights please?

Have a 8x8 and wanted to put either 2 Bestva 2000s in it or 2 ACKE ALP-400W, or would 2 Bestvas 2000s = to 1 of ACKE 400W? Yield wise.

One thing is for sure don't go with any blurple light they are outdated and inefficient compared to leds out now. The second light is definitely a better choice but uses a generic driver. My suggestion would be to buy better lights. Depending on your budget and preference I would suggest either kingbrite or meiju white led board or bar style lights with lm301b or lm301h diodes. If you prefer to buy from us based companies hlg, mars hydro, spider farmer, and timber are popular choices for growers. They will be pricier than the ones I suggested.

You would need 8 of those Bestiva's or at least 4 of ACKE's to cover your area effectively. But I also agree that they "are both rubbish".

Ok thank you for your replies guys. Does watts really matter towards yield. And whats the difference between LM301Bs and LM281B+ diodes? Big difference or could possibly use 281s instead of the 301s

30% less output with 281's vs 301's. Light output matters.
